I’ve been doing both Live Drawing (for donation or just to let folks watch me draw stuff) lately, as well as taking suggestions for drawing. What follows are a series of examples of these things.

Oh! And I did a full coloring on Red Dwarf’s “Cat”, a doodle from my previous Live Drawing. I love Cat! I can’t wait for Red Dwarf X!

That is about all I’ve got for you today.

Sorry for the delay in posting lately. I’ve been really scattered lately with running errands and dealing with flooding in our apartment from construction whoopsies. We’re currently down some key furniture and storage space, meaning I’m kind of stuck in piles of chaos until things get replaced.

I will possibly be doing another Live Donation Drawing soon, or more regularly. It is time again for new shoes (I very nearly blistered recently from spots that are wearing out), and I really need new art markers and better drawing paper. RE Paper, I’ve been using cheap reams of printer paper, but it is too cheap, it bleeds a LOT, especially when I’m stuck using substitute markers. Maybe I can’t get new tech tools for making art, but the basics need some restocking and improvement at least.

I was so honored to be asked by Molly Lewis to do the art for this poster.Â I mean, not only do I get to do this cool thing, I get to make art of all these awesome people that I love to see. You get asked to do a thing like this, and the answer you WANT to give is “I WILL BUILD A TIME MACHINE AND GO BACK IN TIME AND TELL YOU OMGHELLSYES BEFORE YOU EVEN COULD HAVE ASKED!!1!”

When Molly covered “Poker Face”, the lights went on in the green room, and all of the performers were dancing along! WHOOO!

I didn’t get good photos, so I will illustrate with some fanart! Also in the show: Vixy and Tony! I made this fanart of them because boy do I ever love “Companion“!

Also, Sunnie Larsen! I was a little short on time, so this is a somewhat simple fanart. I’ve seen Sunny playing with Marian Call a couple of times, and dangit if she didn’t squeeze a tear out of me when she was playing with Vixy and Tony during the above song.

Open Letter to Stephen Fry

If you’ve wondered what Molly’s “Open Letter to Stephen Fry” would sound like with a full band, here you go!

It was an awesome show, and now that Molly is freed from her college bindings, you should try to catch her wherever she performs!

On a more personal note, I finally got to meet an hang out with a passel of Sea Monkeys (attendees of the JoCo Cruise)! Sara Chicazul, Maria and Taylor Fisher (who have a giant bag of art I dumped on them!), and Alice Lee (OMG, thank you for dinner!!). They were traveling around to West Coast Jonathan Coulton shows, and I was able to host a Supertrain party (A concept from John Roderick, planned out in a few episodes of Roderick on the Line)! I have had a VERY awesome weekend!

I really, really love nerds, people. I really do. They make life SO MUCH more fun!

Back from the PNW BJD Expo! I put out a lot of fabric samples, and boy were these and these popular!

I had these dresses made, and they did not sell. Please e-mail me if you’d like to purchase them!

Tomorrow, Memorial Day, I will be attempting to use U Stream for live sketching. The idea is that people donate something and then suggest a thing for me to sketch. I have no idea how it will go, but it seemed like a fun idea!

Here’s a little art I made.Â You can find prints here. I’m trying to think of things I might submit to Steamcon. I may not go this year, so I dunno.

At ECCC I managed to catch a mini-concert with The Doubleclicks (they have new stuff coming out!!), Marian Call, Molly Lewis (who is making videos every day this month, check it out!)and Vixy and Tony.

And Marian Call’s newest, Shark Week was so fun! Can’t wait to see her plans for the release. :D

Speaking of Molly’s video project… I made this fan art to support it.

When Molly was on her… 2nd and 3rd? Bit of a Chats with Ken Plume, there was a mystery guest, eventually titled J.Q. Walrustitty. I thought I’d finally draw that – but then mash it up with My Neighbor Totoro… you know, because!

Then, C.K. Wright linked to some cute animal pictures, and this was among them, so I…

… made a self-portrait as a pug-ly princess. With a monocle.

I have a few things today! Well, OK… more than a few…

Marian Call posted some photos from an art project she was modeling… I felt compelled to fanart it!

Self portrait as a snail. Because. Creepy, no?

On a recent Bit of a Chat with Ken Plume, he chatted with Gillian Jacobs of the awesome show, “Community”. This is Brita andÂ SeÃ±or Chang doing the play “Letters” as Muppets.

This is… I took a nap the other day and had a series of odd dreams. There was one in which comedian TJ Miller was a nude Tarzan, telling funnies while swinging around a stage on vines. Imagine what that’d actually look and sound like. You’re welcome.

I also did a proper portrait of him. He seemed to enjoy it! :)

PNBJDE Promo Video!

I will be appearing at the Pacific Northwest Ball-Jointed Doll Expo, and this is a video they posted today to promote the show. I’ve always loved dolls, and kind of early on with the BJD fad a lot of my friends jumped into it. However, it is a very expensive hobby (and job for one awesomely talented friend), so I couldn’t indulge. At least now I get to see a bunch up close!

Also, I will be attending Emerald City Comic Con. I hope I can figure out a wheelchair arrangement by then, my back has been really iffy lately. Are you going? What in particular will be a draw for you?
